Greg McCunn

CEO

Mr McCunn brings thirty years of extensive experience in mining in both the base metal and precious metal industries. A Professional Engineer with an MBA, Mr. McCunn has led multiple junior mining companies from the exploration stage through the transition to project development, permitting, financing, construction and into operations. He was formerly the CEO of a number of TSX and NYSE listed public companies including Alio Gold and Galiano Gold and has over a decade of experience as a Chief Financial Officer. As an executive, he has raised over $600 million in equity and debt financing from the Canadian and US capital markets, completed over $1 billion in merger and acquisition transactions, and put three mines into production on three different continents.

Anita Algie

CFO and Director

Ms. Algie has over 17 years of experience in management, listings, compliance, corporate structure and development for exploration and resource-based public companies. She is the former President, CEO and Director of American Lithium Corp. (LI-TSXV) and First Cobalt Corp. (FCC-TSXV) and has served on numerous boards during her career in the public markets and specializes in sourcing, acquiring and developing non grass roots properties. Ms. Algie has also successfully completed several CPC Qualifying Transactions with the TSX Venture Exchange. She is an Honours Human Physiology graduate from the University of British Columbia.

Glenn Barr

Vice President, Project Development

Mr. Barr has more than 25 years of experience in complex mining project development. His work included leading engineering studies, overseeing metallurgical test work programs and integrating environmental protection measures into project design. Glenn has recently been Vice President, Project Development for Twin Metals in Minnesota State. Previously, he held various roles at Stantec and Teck Resources. As an Engineering Liaison at Stantec, he guided the environmental and engineering consultants in ensuring alignment and work efficiencies. While at Teck Resources, he was integral in the development and commercialization of a novel hydrometallurgical process, and was a key member of the team that engineered and constructed a hydrometallurgical processing plant in Brazil. Mr. Barr holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemistry from the University of Victoria.

Marcus Tomlinson

Metallurgical Consultant

Dr. Tomlinson has over 30 years of experience in metallurgical process development, engineering, and operations support.  He has worked as a part of the corporate technical services groups for Goldcorp, Barrick Gold, and Newmont as well as for EPCMs such as Ausenco, AMEC and Fluor, supporting minerals and metals projects across the globe. His Ph.D. was earned at the University of Leeds.

He founded Turnstone Metallurgical Services in April 2021 and has subsequently worked with several clients across many sectors, including gold, rare earths, manganese, lithium, and nickel.  

Kris Benusa

Permitting and Water Consultant

Mr. Benusa is the owner of Forefront Mining Strategies LLC, a consultancy helping companies think strategically and operationalize creative ideas. Kris’ work has centered around facilitating regulatory compliance, identifying/minimizing risk, and providing environmental program vision and oversight in the mining and metals industry. Most recently he was the Manager of Environmental Studies at Twin Metals LLC where he coordinated baseline studies and regulatory engagement for two separate EIS processes (National Environmental Policy Act and the Minnesota Environmental Policy Act) simultaneously.

Brad Peek, CPG

Vice President Exploration

Mr. Peek has more than 40 years’ experience in project management, mineral exploration and in computer applications in the mineral exploration and mining. Mr. Peek received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Alaska. He also is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, and AIME American Institute of Professional Geologists.

Simon D. Studer

Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Studer has over 15 years of industry and sustainable business experience with a special focus on the Americas within the resource industry. Simon has worked with numerous publicly traded and private junior resource companies in various leadership roles, he is an anthropologist, has a Masters in Earth & Energy Resources Leadership from Queen’s University and is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
